Specialist Training Solutions for the Medical Profession

Compitential® is a suite of training software applications, developed and owned by Imagitech, aimed at the medical profession. The aim of the suite is to provide a coherent and concise methodology by which the medical professions can gain and test competencies in a variety of fields, including (but not limited to) medication and prescribing safety.

Compitential® encapsulates innovative training methodologies, helping students and professionals to prepare for medical examinations.

The approach has been piloted successfully with foundation year students at King’s Hospital in London, in the context of medication safety as well as qualified Doctors in the context of Haematology.

The outcomes of the systematic use of the training methodology are:

• Increased patient safety due to the reduction of medication errors
• Quicker and more effective training, both in terms of information retained as well as cost per trainee

The system is also designed to assist examiners set and mark exams quickly, reducing thereby repetitive tasks to a minimum.
